We own a variety of newly manufactured ships in a variety of ship types and models manufactured at the various factories (Tsuneishi, Cebu, Zhoushan) of group company TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Co., Ltd. and lease these ships out to operators all over the world while also providing our own in-house marine transport services for customer cargo, and we also provide ship management services worldwide from 5 ship management bases throughout the world (Singapore, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Norway), including group overseas subsidiaries, for not only owned ships, but also ships from outside of our group.
We have constructed a realtime ship management system which is compatible with the various time zones the ships are in as they travel all over the world, and continually work to refine this system in order to be able to better fulfill the needs of ship owners, charterers, and cargo owners.

For our ship management services we promote digitalization and have developed our own original in-house systems which allow for monitoring of all activity, including efficient purchasing activities, operation status, crew information, and more, to continually maintain full transparency and clarity of day-to-day operations.
Going forward, we plan to continue to incorporate the latest technologies to continue to construct ever more advanced ship management systems and to improve the degree of satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Crew training
KAMBARA KISEN Co., Ltd. has established our own original crewing facilities at various locations in the Philippines, Vietnam, and India, and maintains a system which allows us to hire and assign outstanding crew at all times.
At our Philippines crewing locations, we not only recruit experienced crew, but also cultivate our own company crew at company-owned training facilities. Numerous cadets have already begun service on ships, and we expect that there will be in-house trained ship captains in the near future.
In addition, we have also concluded long-term partnerships with outstanding local crewing companies in the Philippines as part of the establishment of a system which allows us to continue to ensure the stable assignment of outstanding ship crew to our company-owned ships.
Repair bases
In order to maintain the best possible transport quality, KAMBARA KISEN Co., Ltd. works together with other group companies to manage ships and implement the repairs and maintenance (periodic docking) required by law.
KAMBARA KISEN Co., Ltd.’s repair bases include group company TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Co., Ltd. as well as a repair specialized shipyard in the Zhoushan Area with whom we have a good relationship. Our 24 hour a day, 365 day a year system has skilled staff waiting on standby to head to ports all over the world from our various locations in the event of any unexpected problems with any of the ships under our management as they travel all over the world.
KAMBARA KISEN Co., Ltd.’s repair track record extends well beyond just East Asia; also stretching to shipyards in Southeast Asia, Europe, and South America. Going forward we plan to continue expand our repair base network and maintain good relations with our partners all over the world.
